Air France Lounge Düsseldorf

The lounge at Düsseldorf International Airport is nothing special. Where is no WIFI and snacks are very limited.
But it has a nice view over the runways if it is not foggy.

The first leg of my journey

Venlo StationThe first leg of my journey is a 2 hours train ride to the Düsseldorf International Airport. I will cross the border and switch trains at Venlo. In Venlo they change the current of the tracks. Dutch trains are powered by 1500 Volts DC (Direct current) and the German trains use 15.000 Volts AC (alternating current).

The train ride went quite well, in spite of an accident between Breda and Tilburg in The Netherlands. The German train had 10 minutes delay, but I have made my train change in Düsseldorf HB.

Boarding pass

There is no way back, I have just downloaded my boarding passes.

When my journey has started I will provide you with pictures of my Smartphone Galaxy S2 and one of my DSLR cameras.

My first trip

I have booked my first trip a couple of weeks ago. My trip will go to Lisbon the most western and sunny capital of Europe.

I’ll be flying from Düsseldorf (DUS) via Paris CDG to Lisbon (LIS), both legs with Air France . On the way back I’ll have a stop in Amsterdam (AMS) before I fly back to Düsseldorf, both flights with KLM.

My first travel blog

This is my first travel blog and also my first blog. Let’s see what it becomes.
